Firewatch will be released on 2/9. Discount for PS Plus and Steam Pre Order.

Firewatch will be available tomorrow but is already garnering some good reviews and sitting at 80 on Metacritic.

In the words of  developer Campo Santo “Firewatch is a single-player first-person video game where you, as a man named Henry, explore the Wyoming wilderness after taking a summer job as a fire lookout. What is supposed to be a peaceful respite from your complicated life takes a turn when you start to question some of the things that are happening to you. Your only human connection is over a handheld radio, which you’ll use to speak with Delilah, your supervisor, about the things both of you are experiencing.

You can get it for 19.99 on 2/9/16 but if you pre-order on steam or are a PS Plus member you can score it for 17.99

The Pokemon Super Bowl Ad gets me hyped for Pokemon Go.

The 2016 Pokemon Super Bowl Ad gets me hyped for the new Pokemon Go mobile game.

Last year two mobile games spent some major bucks on user acquisition by having Super Bowl ads. This year it is Nintendo and The Pokemon Company. Really cute to see how far lil Pika has come along. Here are some past video game super bowl ads and also a WWF one from 1999 because Wrasslin is cooler than football.

Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead Season 2 Is Revealed

It doesn’t seem to matter what form it comes in, people just can’t seem to get enough of Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead series. The comics, the TV series, and even the video games. Okay maybe not the Activision one based off the TV series (let’s just repress that) but last year’s episodic titles from Telltale Games had people flipping their shit over how good it was. I don’t think I’ve seen so many social media posts about people crying at the end of a video game before. Now Telltale is ready to, hopefully strike gold again with today’s The Walking Dead Season 2 announcement.

The new season will continue to follow the young orphan, Celmentine as she struggles to survive in a post-apocalyptic zombie wasteland and will launch in November for home consoles, PC/Mac and iOS, with more platforms TBA. (I wonder if there are any new consoles coming out in November…) If you pre-order all 5 episodes of the new season now on Steam, you’ll save yourself 10%, bringing the total to $22.49.

Telltale also announced a Game of the Year Edition of the first season that folks will be able to pick up in November as well for $29.99 that includes the “400 Days” DLC.

The teaser trailer after the jump should give you enough to whet your appetite for next month’s release and we’ve got a few more images you can check out of Screenshots and Box Art in the gallery too!

Honored announces it’s Indiegogo Campaign

A look at Honored’s beta badge design.

Now gamers can show off their prowess irl at competitions, events, and on the street. Is your interest piqued? Want to learn how to “Get Honored”? Check out the Indiegogo campaign and sign-up to the newsletter on the Honored website.
